What To Expect
It can be a little daunting to enter a new community, but you’ll find a warm welcome when you join us for services. Pilgrim Church is a congregation full of singles and families, elders and young people, long-time churchgoers and others who are new to faith and/or to our church.
We hope this page will answer some of your questions, but the best way to get to know us is to come to a service. Please introduce yourself to an usher, a greeter, a pastor, or the person sitting in front or behind you, and ask them to tell you about our Pilgrim Church family. We look forward to getting to know you.
Our Sunday worship service is at 9:30 AM. You will find joyous singing, great music, inspired preaching, heartfelt praying, reflective silence, and a community that is glad to come together.
We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month and at some other times. In the spirit of Jesus’ welcome, our communion table is open to everyone.
Pilgrim Congregational Church is located at 26 West St., Leominster, MA, right next to the Leominster Library and across the street from Leominster City Hall. Parking is free behind the church and the Leominster Public Library.
Families, Children, and Young People
We welcome people of all ages and families of all kinds at Pilgrim Church. Children are welcome to worship with their parents; child care is also available during (most of) the (worship) services. We also offer a Church School program for infants through eighth graders, and exciting youth programs for middle and high school students. Please visit the Christian Education page to learn more.
What Should I Wear?
Some people come to service in their Sunday best, while others dress casually. Please come dressed in whatever feels right to you.
Pilgrim Church can be entered via a concrete ramp on the Leominster Public Library side of the building.
We encourage you to say hello to the people around you at worship or the fellowship hour after service and ask them any questions you might have. We will have information about church programs and members who would be happy to meet you. Our pastors would also love to know you came to our service, so please introduce yourself to them as well. (We also have a guest register for you to fill out and sign if you wish to do so.)
If you have a question that is not answered here, please call the church at 978-534-5164 and we will be glad to speak with you, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
